In nature the word “evergreen” is given to trees that remain “green forever”
We want to bring the beauty of the natural world to life through our creations so they are forever remembered.
The confidence our jewelry brings to people is like magic.
The reason our jewelry brings so much joy and confidence is because it’s inspired by who we are, what’s all around us, the universe.
Unlike mass produced jewelry, ours is incredibly special because its infused with love, time, thoughtfulness and effort.
Wearing our jewelry allows you to showcase who you are to anyone without needing to say a word.

Hi, I’m Shona, and for as long as I can remember I have felt deeply connected to the world around us.
The stars, the moon, the natural world..we are all connected to it.
There isn’t a cold night sky I don’t look up in awe at the stars and think to myself isn’t it crazy that we are so small in such an unimaginable universe filled with unexplored worlds, planets, galaxies and life.
As a fellow human being living on the giant floating rock we call earth in the middle of space, I sometimes look up and feel insignificant. Like a small star in the middle of an unknown vast galaxy. As maybe many of you do too.
I want my creations to be remembered, I strive to make an impact on peoples lives during my lifetime on this beautiful world.
I have a strong empathy for all life but animals are the beings I would gladly dedicate my life to helping, which is why I donate as much as I can to do so.
Before I started this business, I had a couple of other career options in mind.
The first was a vet but I dont have the heart to charge people money for caring about their furry family.
The second was a zoologist as I have always wanted to study animals and form bonds with them but to be honest with you, the idea of having to study in college for years is something I have never been willing to do.
I struggle with the idea of spending years of my life being taught things by other people all to then work for someone else.
When I lived in France, I was studying French literature. I felt like I chose the studying route because that’s what those around me did and I never questioned it.
I now realise why I detested my studies so much..because my true path all along was Art.
I left school on a whim, I just got up out of class one day and never looked back.
I then had the idea to use my artistic talents to create a business and it turned into making jewelry.
At 17 years old I had already founded a business successful enough to support my family. I felt like I was finally able to show my talents that were being hidden for so long.
I don’t yet know my future goals for Evergreenmoon. All I know is I want to use it to do good.
I moved from France to New Zealand in early 2023. The different forests, animals, trees and landscapes are already inspiring new art and jewelry.
Behind the scenes there is also my partner who helps package orders and puts jewelry together. Our cats try their best to help but unfortunately they’re only good at stepping on things they shouldn’t and trying to lay on your orders..

We do everything we can to make sure all our packaging is as eco friendly as possible.
We use eco friendly biodegradable packaging paper and compostable mailers.
A dream of ours is to travel the world whilst volunteering and donating as much as we can to animal rescue organisations.
We would love to bring you all along with us, make a difference to animals lives and share our unique creations to the world.
Every order is another step to making that dream a reality.
Shocking facts that need to change:
- Over 115 million animals are killed in laboratory experiments worldwide for chemical, drug, food, and cosmetic testing every year.
- Humanity has wiped out 60% of the animal population since 1970.
- Only an estimated 70 leopards, 3,900 tigers, 40,000 elephants and 20,000 lions remain in the wild.
- By 2050, the amount of plastic in the ocean will outweigh all of the ocean’s fish.
- Around 30,000 species are driven to extinction every year.
We want to help change these facts.
We have both been surrounded by animals our whole lives. They will always be there for you and no matter what you do to them their love is unconditional.
We want to create a better future for all the animals that need our help. Not enough people realise how much pain and suffering they endure daily and how much worse it will get in the future unless something changes.
We always try to donate as much as we can to animal and environmental protection organisations or to help raise money for animals in need.
